The Healthy Moms Program is open to all women in Monroe County over 18 years old who are pregnant or have a child under the age of 4 years old and provides moms with the support they need to reach their full potential as a parent and as an individual. Moms pick the services they are interested in and create a customized plan of what they would like to accomplish at Healthy Moms.

Moms participating in the above services can receive on-site childcare. Moms that live in the City of Rochester can receive free transportation.

Established in 1989, the Youth Apprentice Program (formerly the School-to-Work Program) gives Rochester City School District students an opportunity to succeed and achieve a career in healthcare. Our program, based out of Rochester General Hospital, combines academic achievement, mentoring, and volunteerism to improve academic outcomes for students.
Because of generous support from donors like you, students seize the opportunity to work side-by-side with the healthcare professionals at Rochester Regional Health through a one-year comprehensive paid internship. In addition to working in the hospital, students meet experts in personal finance, and college admissions, and takes students off site to spend a day touring the Rochester Institute of Technology campus.
Each participant earns not just his/her high school diploma, but a Certificate of Completion signed by the State of New York attesting the students have had youth employment competency training, and has the skills necessary to be a conscientious and productive employee.

Rochester Regional Health’s Mobile Mammography Center provides early breast cancer detection services to women 40 and older in Western New York and the Finger Lakes Region.
The goal of the program is to work collaboratively with community partners and health care providers to make it easier for women, especially those in more rural areas, to get a mammogram in their community. Annual mammograms are important because when breast cancer is caught early, it is much easier to treat.
The 42-foot long, private, RV-style vehicle is staffed with highly trained breast radiologists and provides the same high-quality, 3-D breast imaging technology available at all of Rochester Regional Health’s breast imaging locations.
The mobile unit is on the road daily serving women in Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, Ontario, Yates, Seneca, Cayuga, and Steuben counties. Since its introduction in August 2018, the Mobile Mammography Center has served more than 3,600 women.
The Mobile Mammography Center was made possible through a three-year grant from the State of New York Health Research Inc., and the New York State Department of Health.
